Hi, I’m Kenny Talamas, owner of PAINTWORKS! I’m your full service Painter and Handyman located in Florence, Oregon.
Maintaining a Home on the Oregon coast isn’t easy. The rainy season can be seven months long! Water and high humidity are huge factors on the Oregon coast. Paint and Caulking are your first defense to keep your house in it’s best condition. Check your caulking and paint every year and address anything that’s needed.
Gutters always need attention too. If your gutters are full of debris and not flowing, water can back up and destroy the roof and walls. Make sure the water has somewhere to go and is draining properly. Water from gutters can get under the house into the crawlspace and cause major damage.
Sediment Water filters need to be replaced every few months and U.V Light filters replaced every year or so. Water heaters can be drained every year or so to prolong their life. From leaky faucets to broken drawers, there’s always something to fix or maintain regarding your home!
However, you’re not alone. I’m here to help! I’ve been taking care of my own home on the Oregon coast for the last 20 years. I’ve learned a few things along the way and I can help you achieve your Dream House.

Exterior Painting
Painting isn’t just ‘painting’. There’s a lot of prep work if you want a quality paint job. Usually some landscaping needs to be done just to access the space safely. Then there’s pressure washing, caulking, patching and priming. Depending on the condition of your house ‘prep-work’ can be 75% of the job! Painting is the easy part!
Interior painting
I also paint inside the home. This also requires a lot of pre-work and patience. Extra care must be used to protect the floors and other surfaces. If any sanding is involved, the dust must be filtered properly. I can patch holes, repair drywall and create multi-textured, multi-colored designs!

Will you do a small one hour job?
I’m happy to help you with a small Job, but I do charge a $25 ‘Trip Fee’ for a one hour job. However, I offer a FREE first hour if you have a full day or more of work for me.
What is your “Quarterly Maintenance Program”?
You can schedule your house maintenance routine to be done every three months and get the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you’re scheduled in and your house is well maintained!
How much do you charge?
I’m currently charging $45 an hour for most services. If you have a full day or more of work for me then your first hour is FREE!
$25 ‘Trip Charge’ for One Hour Jobs. In Florence or Mapleton.

Yes, I have general Liability Insurance incase of an incident on your property and I’m bonded.
